Use it well

A few tips for using soy wax candles:

  1. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents tunneling around the wick.
  2. Don’t burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.

  3. If the flame is too high or starts to smoke, trim the wick to 1–2 mm. If the flame is too weak, remove a bit of wax from the surface.

  4. The jar gets hot while burning and can damage surfaces — keep that in mind when placing your candle.
  5. To extinguish the candle, cover it with a non-flammable lid or use a snuffer. Avoid blowing it out to prevent the smell of smoke mixing with the candle’s aroma.
  6. Never leave a burning candle unattended, near pets or small children, or in a drafty area.
  7. Store soy candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ideally below 25°C, as higher temperatures can cause the wax to deform.

Also, keep them away from heat sources or sunlight to avoid melting or warping.
